Step 1 Prepare Estimate: We will inspect your vehicle, document the damage and use your insurance company's report to prepare the lowest estimate for your repairs.
Step 2 Authorization: Before we begin any work we need your signature authorizing our technicians to get your repairs underway.
Step 3 Insurance Approval: Before we begin we must also have the insurance company approve the repair.
Step 4 Order Parts Needed: After all approvals we must locate and order the necessary parts to repair your vehicle.
Step 5 Receive Parts: Once all parts are received and accounted for we can schedule your vehicle for repair and generate the best target date for completion. *Note that since some damage may not be apparent until beginning repairs this date could change.
Step 6 Schedule Vehicle Repair: We can now contact you to schedule the most convenient time for your vehicle to be repaired. In cases where your vehicle is already in our shop we will begin immediate repair.
Step 7 Vehicle Dissembled and Re-Inspected: As your vehicle's outer panels are removed the physical structure will often reveal hidden damage that could not be detected in the initial estimate inspection. This hidden damage may alter your target date.
Step 8 Supplement Damage Report Written (when necessary): This report is generated when hidden damage is discovered once your vehicles damaged parts are removed and the physical structure is revealed.
Step 9 Customer and Insurance Co. Notified: As hidden damage can incur additional costs to fix we notify both the customer and the insurance company to help both parties decide how to proceed.
Step 10 Supplement Approved: The insurance company or owner must authorize repairs on the additional damage before we can continue the repair.
Step 11 Supplement Parts Ordered (when necessary): If we find additional damage steps 2,3 and 4 must be repeated. For this reason we may have asked you to sign an additional authorization form for your convenience.
Customer Updates: With your permission we will contact you throughout the repair process and update you on the progress of the vehicle's repair and let you know if your target date is still on target.
